Woman Dies In Single Vehicle Collision

Posted on: 10-31-2011 Posted in: accident injury, Accident Investigation, car crash

According to news sources, a woman was killed in a single vehicle collision that took place Sunday on Whites Canyon Road after her vehicle struck a pole on the roadway, causing a fiery accident.

The woman was traveling northbound on Whites Canyon Road in what was reported to be a red Ford Fusion when the accident took place. The woman was the only occupant in the vehicle in this single vehicle accident, the California Highway Patrol said.

The collision set the vehicle ablaze while the woman was reportedly still inside. She died at the scene. The fire melted the signal box attached to the traffic pole the women collided with and there were other signs of intense fire.

The CHP is currently investigating the cause of the crash.

There were no other injuries or collisions reported in the accident.

As a Roseville car accident lawyer, I offer my sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. In my line of work, I am familiar with accidents of this tragic nature.  I encourage drivers to pay attention to the road at all times. If you or someone you care about has been struck by a car and believe the conditions that caused it were the fault of another party, I encourage you to contact a personal injury lawyer to help you proceed legally.
