Recall: GMC and Chevrolet Vehicles Due To Faulty Air Bags
According to news sources, about 1,798 2012 GMC Savana and Chevrolet Express vans made by General Motors have been recalled due to faulty air bags that may not inflate in the case of a severe frontal collision.
The recalled vehicles, the 2012 GMC Savana and the Chevrolet Express vans, were recalled after it was found that the vehicles had faulty airbags which in turn did not pass the safety requirements for occupant safety created by the NHTSA.
The recalled vehicles have been made by General Motors from June through October.
Consumers with the recalled vehicles can take their cars to dealers for a free replacement of their airbags. Anyone with questions or concerns should contact the company at 800-462-8782 or 800-222-1020.
