According to news sources, two teenagers were killed in an accident that took place Saturday night near Commerce Center Drive when the vehicle they were in veered off the roadway and landed on a hillside.
The accident took place on Hasley Canyon Road when he a 28-year-old man driving a 1999 Ford Escort lost control of the vehicle on the roadway, the California Highway Patrol said. The roadway was reportedly slick at the time due to rainfall, the CHP said.
The vehicle exited the roadway and went through a wooden fence, crashed into a tree and subsequently landed on the hillside.
The CHP suspects that the driver of the vehicle to have been allegedly drinking and driving. Two teenage passengers sitting in the back seat of the vehicle were reportedly pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
