Big Rig Overturns In Fatal Accident

Posted on: 12-7-2011 Posted in: accident injury, Accident Investigation, Big Rig Accident, personal injury

According to news sources, a big rig truck overturned Tuesday afternoon when the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle that was carrying water while attempting to negotiate a turn on the roadway.

The accident took place as the driver of the big rig attempted to negotiate a turn on Round Mountain Road yet the load of water that the truck was carrying reportedly shifted in the process, causing the driver to lose control, a California Highway Patrol officer said.

The incident caused the drive to be pinned down in the overturned tractor-trailer. He died after sustaining fatal injuries in the crash.

The CHP is currently investigating and said that speed may have been a factor in the accident.

As a Los Angeles truck accident lawyer law firm, I offer my sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. In my line of work, I am familiar with accidents of this tragic nature.  If you or someone you care about has been struck by a car and believe the conditions that caused it were the fault of another party, I encourage you to contact a personal injury lawyer Los Angeles to help you proceed legally.
