Four teens injured in Imperial Valley single-car collision
People often think of automobile collisions as involving two or more vehicles, but oftentimes serious car accidents causing real harm can occur with only one car involved. This recent accident involving four teenagers is an example.
The four teenagers riding inside of a compact car were injured recently after the car fell into a canal near Austin Road in the Imperial Valley region, according to a California Highway Patrol report. The crash occurred in the early evening. One of the teenagers reported suffering an injury, and as a safety measure, the teen was airlifted to the nearby Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs for evaluation. The three other occupants of the car were taken to Pioneers Memorial Hospital, where their status is unknown at this time. The medical centers receiving those injured in this accident are unable to release the medical information of minors. The vehicle, a Chevy Cavalier, was southbound on Austin Road when it crashed into an off road canal. The accident happened just north of Keystone Road.
As a Roseville car accident lawyer, I am always sad to hear about automobile collisions, especially those resulting in injuries, but they do, unfortunately, continue to occur. If you or someone you love has been hurt in a car accident, I urge you to consider discussing the details of your case with a Roseville personal injury attorney.
