Which car safety features are most effective?
With new safety features coming out on cars continually, some are better than others at crash avoidance. By studying files on insurance claims researchers discovered that the Forward Collision Avoidance System is the best at helping to avoid the worst accidents. At least fourteen percent fewer claims were filed by those who owned vehicles equipped these systems. Another promising feature are the shifting headlights, these are headlights that change direction with the steering wheel. Persons who own vehicles with this feature also filed fewer claims.
