Drivers face a fine of $130 if they are caught texting or talking on their cell phones. The police are trying to crack down on what they describe as a nationwide increase in accidents involving distracted drivers. The police speculate that this fine will make people less likely to use their cell phone. Citizens are also encouraged to report drivers who they believe are using a cell phone while driving.
