New Sleepypod carrier may offer pets more protection in a collision
Sleepypod, a pet products company in Pasadena, California, has developed a new pet carrier. In the development process, completed with help from the U.S. Department of Transportation and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the carrier showed no signs of damage in control crash testing. The system works with the cars seat belt and minimizes impacts resulting from a vehicle collision, according to safety studies.
