Palm Desert law enforcement announces commercial vehicle inspections
The Desert Hills Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility, a division of the California Highway Patrol will be conducting safety inspections for commercial vehicles this week in Palm Desert. The inspections conducted in cooperation with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, will focus on the integrity of the vehicles’ brakes, wheels, and steering components as well as examining the drivers for signs of fatigue in an effort to reduce the number of traffic accidents involving commercial vehicles in the Palm Desert region.
