Highway patrol issues 24 citations in commercial inspection effort
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, in cooperation with the California Highway Patrol’s Desert Hills Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility, conducted a commercial vehicle inspection strike force campaign in Palm Desert recently. As a result of the campaign, law enforcement officers issued 24 separate violations including defective tires and improper licensing, and several vehicles were placed out-of-service until the violations could be corrected.
