AT&T: Distracted driving injuries occur every five minutes
According to accident studies, a driver is 23 times more likely to crash if they are texting while driving. AT&T has sponsored a new event called “It Can Wait.” This program urges drivers to be more aware of the dangers of texting while driving. In the USA, on average, every five minutes, a driver is injured in an accident linked to distracted driving. Over 500,000 people have pledged not to text while driving.
