Big Rig Accident Caused By Driver Who Claimed He Was Fleeing Zombies Comments Off

Multiple news agencies have reported that a 19-year-old driving a big rig was involved in a multi-vehicle accident in Temecula.

The driver reportedly stole a big rig truck, crashed into multiple vehicles and ended up telling the authorities he was attempting to flee “zombies” when the accident occurred. The 19-year-old has since the accident pleaded guilty to a felony count that includes hit-and-run, assault with a deadly weapon and taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent. The accident happened on the northbound lanes of the Interstate 15. According to the authorities, two individuals sustained serious injuries as a result of the accident.

Overturned Vehicle Found Two Days After Crash, Driver Was Trapped Comments Off

A driver spent over two days in her car after it overturned as a result of an accident that happened on a rural road in Santa Rosa.

The vehicle hit a pole and ended up rolling down a 40-foot embankment after the collision. The woman was apparently trapped in the vehicle for the entire weekend until a tractor-trailer found the vehicle around 10 a.m. on Monday.

According to several news agencies, distractions are accounted for over 50,000 injuries related to auto accidents every year in North Carolina alone.

Multiple news agencies have indicated that law enforcement agencies across the country have been focusing on making drivers aware of the risks associated with distractions. Groups are also targeting parents in order to teach them that they should set the example and avoid being distracted while behind the wheel so teens are not distracted as well.

Studies show that teens whose parents are distracted often behind the wheel are also distracted. Phone usage is an issue that leads to distractions but other problems are also responsible for distracted driving accidents such as eating, drinking and focusing on children or pets in the back seat.

Accident Near Val Verde Sends Three People To The Hospital Comments Off

Multiple news agencies have indicated that three people were sent to the hospital after two vehicles crashed on the Highway 126.

The accident happened sometime before 3:30 in the afternoon on Sunday. The California Highway Patrol did not report on what caused the accident but stated that the SUV involved in the crash overturned as a result of the impact. The second vehicle involved sustained major damage to its front end.

Multiple news agencies have indicated that two cyclists and one motorcyclist sustained minor injuries as a result of an accident that happened along side the Mulholland Highway on Saturday.

According to the reports, the motorcyclist was riding when he approached a bend that is somewhat windy. As soon as he reached the bend known as “Dead Man’s Turn”, the rider hit two cyclists riding ahead. The collision caused minor injuries. Nobody was severely hurt and no other vehicles were involved.

The region is famous for being dangerous to bicyclists and motorcyclists. The California Highway Patrol is now investigating the accident.

Northgate Blvd Accident Results In Fatality Comments Off

The California Highway Patrol has reported that an accident that happened in Sacramento claimed one life.

The news sources covering this accident reported that the passenger in a 2010 black Camaro was ejected from the vehicle after it drifted off the Northgate Boulevard where it crashed into a tree.

Man Was Pinned In Crash On I-215 Comments Off

The California Highway Patrol has stated that an accident involving one truck on Sunday has been reported.

The truck was traveling on the southbound lanes of the Interstate 215 when it colliding with the k-rail on the right side of the roadway. According to several news sources, a motorist who was following behind saw the accident and decided to stop in order to help the victims. San Jose Man Involved In A Recent Hwy 101 Crash Loses Arm Comments Off

Multiple news agencies have indicated recently that an accident involving one vehicle resulted in severe injuries to one of the car’s occupants. According to the California Highway Patrol, the San Jose man lost his arm when the vehicle he was occupying as a passenger crashed into a tree.

The vehicle was traveling on the southbound lanes of the Highway 101 when the driver noticed a tarp in the road and attempted to avoid it by swerving. The vehicle ended um running off the road and crashing into the tree as a result.

While the driver suffered minor injuries as a result of the accident, the passenger had his arm severed. The accident is still under investigation, reports show.
