According to news sources, a woman was injured in a solo accident Saturday on Indian Springs Road when she reportedly veered off the roadway before colliding with a utility pole and severing the lines as a result.
The 22-year-old woman was driving a Jeep and heading northbound on the roadway when she reportedly drifted off the roadway, the California Highway Patrol said. The woman’s vehicle ended up crashing into a utility pole before going through a fence and finally coming to a stop.
The woman was transported to an area hospital after sustaining moderate injuries in the crash. The CHP arrested the woman on suspicion of driving under the influence.
The downed lines ended up reportedly causing the closure of the roadway for several hours until the area was cleared.
