According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Kumho Solus KH25 passenger car tires are being recalled over a possible accident risk.
The reports show that the company Kumho Tire U.S.A., Inc. sent the affected tires to Liberty Tire Recycling, LLC for disposal due to the fact these tires presented three drill holes. According to the report issued by the federal agency, these tires were resold to several distributors. The tires were sold as “used tires” in spite of the fact they contained holes. The drill holes represent failure to comply with standard requirements set up by the Rubber Manufacturers Association.
